Green is the new pink. Green is the new yuppie.
One of my new favorite colors. And it can be a lifestyle. Everyone is talking about how to be green, how to eat green, how to live green. It's not like recycling is a new thing- or the earth's resources are being stripped any less faster or the use of chemicals and hormones in farming hasn't raised questions before.
Too many of my favorite blogs that I stalk browse frequently, are talking about real ways and easy ways to be green that I just can't ignore it. I recycle. I started a recycle program at work for plastic bottles & yogurt containers. I buy organic veggies. But there is just so much more.
This sight just speaks to me....www.happyfoody.com . I am going to try the green smoothies. We have been making lots of smoothies of late anyways - so why not add some organic spinach to the mix?
what are you doing to be green?
I'm taking baby steps with it. I recycle anything that can be recycled. I'm cutting down on paper towels. I bought reusable bags for the grocery store. I'm being more aware of turning off the lights when I leave the room and not letting the water run. I only wash clothes in cold water. Baby steps. :)
